Small Groups / Adult Study

Members are encouraged to participate in one or more small groups for fellowship and study. On Wednesdays at noon the pastor leads a book study. Each person brings her or his own lunch, and the study topic changes every six to eight weeks. There is also time for fellowship and conversation about the happenings of our lives.
On Wednesday evenings a light meal is provided at 7:15 p.m., and from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. there is discussion, usually centering on a book that has been chosen by the group. These groups are open to anyone who may wish to attend. Registration is not required, but for the evening group it is helpful to those preparing the meal to know how many will attend.
Some of the recent Wednesday studies have included: Tomorrow’s Faith, Meeting Jesus Again for the First Time, and Dealing with Change.

Retreats, the United Methodist Women’s group and the United Methodist Men’s group also provide ongoing opportunities for small group fellowship.
