Musical Ministry

Music is a central and joyful part of the life of our congregation. We are blessed with the music staff whose gifts enable them to inspire children and adults of all ages to sing to the glory of God. We have a strong children’s music program, with weekly rehearsals and weekly participation of the Junior Choir in Sunday worship. Children are taught gently and patiently to grow in their ability to read and perform music. The Adult Choir has a repertoire that ranges from the classics to American hymnody to the spirituals and quality contemporary selections. Both choirs welcome new participants, with or without prior choral experience. Except for the summer months, both choirs usually rehearse on Thursday evenings, Junior Choir 7 – 8 p.m., Adult Choir 8 – 9:30 p.m.
