March 17 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
What’s a mitzvah? The word “mitzvah” in Hebrew means “commandment”, but in Jewish theology and practice, a mitzvah is a good deed that connects you to humanity and to God.
UMW is sponsoring an Festival of Good Deeds on Saturday, March 17 from 10:30 – 12:30, giving everyone in the congregation an opportunity for hands on mission and charitable work to benefit a variety of social service organizations in the area as well as our own congregants. Reserve the day in your calendar now and look for more details in the coming weeks!
