The word advent means come to and it refers to that fact that at Christmas God has indeed come to us in the form of a weak, helpless baby. We know him as Jesus. During the four weeks of Advent we prepare ourselves as individuals and families to celebrate the birth of the Christ Child. Our church will celebrate the onset of this event in the form of a traditional multi-faceted evening of family activity. It is a way to kick-off a super start to a most joyful season. All church members and friends are invited to participate. The following is a schedule of activities:4:00 to 5:00 PM:Make an advent wreath with your family.
